Las Vegas Vacation

Las Vegas Strip

You just can't beat a Las Vegas Vacation for all the things there are to do in Vegas.  Las Vegas attractions offer something for everyone,  including theme parks, roller coasters, museums, national parks, and more.

What's your Why for a Las Vegas Vacation?  The thrill of the casinos, the theme park rides, the shopping, dinning, live shows?  No matter what your why is I want you to know there are some fun things to do in Vegas that are FREE.

Below is a list of FREE things to do and see in Vegas.

Caesars Palace (The Forum Shops) Attractions, Fall of Atlantis, Festival Fountain, The Aquarium

Check out the Thunderstorm at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in the hallways of the Miracle Mile shopping Mall.

Streetmosphere at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian
Watch the spectacular outdoor show at Fountains at the Bellagio then wander inside to the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio.

Catch the free Circus acts at Circus Circus.  In the evening each night catch the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas or check out the Rock and Roll Memorabilla at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Don't like what you see on TV these days you can have your say by  watching and rating new television shows at the CBS Television City the MGM Grand.

Into salt water aquariums, then the Mariage Hotel has a 20,000 gallon tank you will want to see, check out the Tropical Rainforest and the White Tiger Habitat and while you are there make sure to watch the volcano erupt each night right on the strip

For something a little different head out to Sam's Town Hotel for the Sunset Stampede, a animatronic, laser light and water show with a western pioneer theme.

Like the Pirates? The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino describes its Sirens of TI show as a "modern musical-meets-action-movie spectacular". The shows features music, dancing, swordplay, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and even a full size ship sinking.

A place to just sit and relax for a while is in the Free Casino Lounges.  Most casinos have lounges to keep patrons entertained. Many of these lounges are completely free to sit in and enjoy. They have no cover charge and no drink minimums. Just walk in sit down and enjoy the music.

Wander down the the City Center and check out the Fine Art Collection there.

There is a Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel.   A troupe of Polynesian born performers put on free shows every day at the Hawaiian Marketplace Shopping Mall

Masquerade Village Show in the Sky at the Rio Hotel a display of floats and circus acts above your head.

Like cars then visit Carroll Shelby Museum and Factory Tours to view the custom muscle cars.

Just 30 miles southeast of Vegas is Hoover Dam.  Or take a day trip to Zion National Park. Zion National Park is only 168 miles from Las Vegas and you drive through a few canyons carved out by the Virgin River. Once you get to Zion National Park you can park your vehicle and enjoy the ride on the free shuttles provided by the National Park Service.  Essentially, you get a free guided tour through the park and are driven to points of interest in the park as well as popular hiking trails and vistas.

You don't have to spend all your time in the casinos in Vegas to have a wonderful time on your vacation.
