Or if you're looking for somewhere for children to let off steam try Crealy Great Adventure Park or Dairyland Farm World, which both have a wealth of outdoor attractions plus big indoor play areas should the weather take a turn for the worst.  There are also national landmarks such as Land's End which has something for the whole family, or Cornwall's natural heritage in the form of our stunning coastline and countryside.

Cornwall has some of the best gardens to visit anywhere on the British mainland due to Cornwall's mild climate, plus the internationally renowned   Eden Project.  We have national galleries and museums such as The Tate St Ives and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall at Falmouth. Grand Cayman A Piece Of Paradise

Posted by: vikki  :  Category: Travel reviews & hot deals

Nestled in the calm, turquoise waters of the western Caribbean lies the peaceful British Overseas Territory known as the Cayman Islands. Consisting of three islands just 480 miles south of Miami, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman remain little pieces of paradise.

Blessed with sun-kissed beaches and waters teeming with gold flecked fish, the Cayman Islands offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world.

Grand Cayman visitors can choose from a wonderland of more than 159 dive sites. It's all here: steep, deep walls adorned with sponges and corals in a stunning array of colors, shallow reefs filled with schooling and solitary fish and small invertebrates, and wrecks featuring photogenic structures and curious marine residents. There's also the World's Best 12 Foot Dive – unique Stingray City.  Grand Cayman's reefs offer a variety of marine life encounters. The fish and critters are unafraid of divers, knowing we pose no threat.   If you've only fantasized about peeking beneath the sea, there is no safer, gentler and more exciting place to learn this sport than in Cayman's calm, clear, current-free waters. From toddlers to great-grandparents, snorkeling is ideal for all ages and a great family activity too.

In the Cayman Islands, fishing is often called the unofficial "national sport." Prized game fish like blue marlin, tuna, wahoo and dolphin (Mahi-mahi) are caught year-round. Thrilling catches take place as close as a quarter mile offshore on all three islands

The Cayman Islands provide a challenge to anglers with a wide variety of deep-sea game fish, light tackle and fly fishing year round.
The Cayman Islands is completely different than the other Caribbean Islands because there is plenty of deep water and a variety of fish that changes with the tides.

Additional Water sports include, paddle boarding, kitesurfing and parasailing.

Choose from taking the family out for the day riding horseback and bringing a picnic or having a romantic evening ride for two in the evening along the caribean coast under the full moon.

Go on a romantic sunset cruise with the one you love. Feast at one of the fine restaurants, many of which feature live entertainment to create that special ‘evening out’ mood. Unwind. Kick back. Smile. Tomorrow is another day and you’re blessed. You’re in the Cayman Islands…sheer bliss!

The Islands are also hassle-free with no street vendors, allowing a peaceful and pleasant visit as well as the freedom to wander and enjoy our capital: George Town, which possesses some of the best cooking and shopping in the Caribbean.

Situated on the East end of the Grand Cayman is Morritts Toruga Club & Resort.

As a GRN travel member you can spend Apr 2-9 2011 in a two BDRM for only $689

I researched Orbits, Priceline, Travelocity, same dates, but only 1 bdrm available and the prices ranged from $1435, $1581 and $2905

With a GRN travel membership you will save $746 to $2216 on this one vacation alone.

If you have been thinking of purchasing a timeshare somewhere in the world, our Travel Membership gives you all the perks of a timeshare owner without the high buy in costs or the maintenance fees and the flexibility  to travel somewhere different each year with no limits on how many vacations you can take.

Holiday In Mijas Costa

Posted by: vikki  :  Category: Travel reviews & hot deals

In the Spanish province of Malaga you will find Mijas Costa
a bustling beachfront resort area and also on the Costa del Sol is Mijas Pueblo, one of the prettiest villiages in Spain.

The pueblo is a typical Andaluz village of whitewashed buildings perched high on the mountainside with spectacular views to the Mediterranean below and a scenic backdrop of endless pine forests.

Mijas has a distinctly cosmopolitan flavour with international restaurants, clubs and bars. You won't find any major boulevards and main thoroughfares here

-Mijas is a delightful maze of narrow cobbled streets and archways with picture postcard houses, red tile roofs and balcanies ablaze with brightly colored geraniums.

An ancient spring at the entrance to the village still provides natural mineral water from a tap in the wall. There are even donkey taxis which trek around the pueblo to the delight of the sightseers.

You will find local arts and crafts, hand made linen and wicker items, local bread, honey and almond cakes.

Mijas Costa seems like a world away from the pueblo, also known as La Cala, Mijas Costa is a popular beach resort area with watersports, bars, restaurants and

a golfer's paradise with numerous championship golf courses.  Costa del Sol is the Golfing Mecca of Europe.

A popular day trip is to drive inland to Ronda, one of the prettiest and most historic towns of Costa del Sol.

The town is famous for El Tajo, the plunging river gorge that divides the medieval from the 18th century parts of the town. The spectacular gorge has a stone bridge, Puente Nuevo that was once a prison and is today a dramatic viewpoint for visitors. The walkway El Parador along the river gorge offers a terrific view of the surrounding landscape. Ronda is also recognized for its bullring – the oldest and largest in Spain.

If you have not been to Spain, I invite you to come and explore this part of the world.

With a GRN Travel Membership you can spent Jan 29th-Feb 05-11 in a Two Bdrm

at the Barratt Dona Lola Club, Mijas Costa, Spain, for only $359 for the week.

I checked rates on the internet and I could only find a one Bdrm for $2095  a week.

Your member price just saved you $1736 on this holiday alone.

If you have been thinking of purchasing a timeshare somewhere in the world, our Travel Membership gives you all the perks of a timeshare owner without the high buy in costs or the maintenance fees and the flexibility  to travel somewhere different each year with no limits on how many vacations you can take.
